Schio, European City of Sport 2023

Sport is at home here. We often host sports teams from all over Europe who come here for their competitions and choose us for our hospitality, personalised diet and proximity to sports facilities and the city. Many sportspersons who are part of local teams, such as the basketball or football teams, choose our apartments for longer stays and are now like family to us. When the news was released that Schio was nominated as the European City of Sport for 2023 and we were absolutely thrilled. Raffaella Masciadri, women’s basketball multi-champion and president of the Coni Athletes Commission, will be Schio’s figurehead for this title.
